![]() ![]() "Ah, you are the lone lion from beyond the fog" An extra few lines of line reading is all I'm asking for. Whether the game provides you with a custom "sticker" layer system or has you choose between a dozen or so crests and maybe how you align with that symbol (high born, exiled, lone survivor, knight, etc) and you'll be greeted as such by certain npcs upon seeing your mark. My suggestion: Create some type of marking unique to you. ![]() ![]() Status quo: Choose a class, create your character, start in rags, find armor sets throughout the game, and never feel 100% unique. ![]() Unique armor only found in chests at the end of dungeons are still cool though. Have me start in rags, but let me eventually get my own custom armor that is unique to me and not a dead guy that looked cool. It seems like such a kick in the face that your hero is just doing cosplay of whatever look you fancy.Ĭan I get a game that let's you create your own legend and look? A previous thread I made of this topic had folks telling me I should look into character action games but that isn't it. You typically start in some rags and collect gear from fallen foes that look cool and ultimately buy the kits of bosses you defeat from merchants. I've longed to be my OWN hero on these quests. I'll admit, I'm not sure what's in store there but I can probably guess based on past titles. With the Elden Ring gameplay vid out, I've once again gone back to what bugs me about these types or games. ![]()
